Job Overview
NSCAP is the established northern provider of pre-clinical and clinical training in Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy. The Business Operations Officer plays a vital role in providing the day-to-day administration for NSCAP’s suite of trainings, from short escalator courses to the doctoral level Clinical Training in Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. This role involves the administration of all aspects of the NSCAP office, including providing financial, administrative and secretarial support to the professional and managerial staff of NSCAP, providing administrative support to the postgraduate and short course training programmes delivered at NSCAP.

Main duties of the job
The Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LYPFT) is the main provider of Mental Health and Learning Disability services in Leeds. We also provide specialist inpatient services in York and some highly specialised services across the country. Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities
The Business Manager role involves co-planning the annual cycle of NSCAP activities across conflicting academic and financial years, advising the Leadership team, and facilitating the support required to execute the core business of NSCAP. This is a key role in NSCAP’s Leadership team and the post holder will escalate emerging issues to the NSCAP Director and Operational & Business Development Manager to ensure organisational responsiveness and resilience. The responsibilities of the role are undertaken with significant autonomy and require the post-holder to manage resources and problem solve with a high level of independence and competence to ensure compliance within a range of areas.

Main duties of the job
- Maintaining student records
- Administration of specialist academic programmes requiring knowledge of training requirements and course application and eligibility process
- Providing first point of contact for in-person and telephone enquiries.
- Providing business support including financial processes e.g. raising POs, processing invoices, raising sales orders, processing contractor payments
- Supporting course organisers and tutors to ensure high quality course delivery, including using bespoke academic software
- Production of digital course material and handbooks
- Liaison with University partners
- Attendance and minuting at University exam boards
- Minute taking at academic course committee meetings
- Managing room bookings for training and teaching using Matrix booking system.
