Job Description
Johnson & Johnson is hiring for a Manager, Strategic Program Management to join our Engineering & Property Services (E&PS) team located in either the Beerse, Belgium, Zug, Switzerland, High Wycombe, UK offices. This is not a remote role; there is a requirement to be on-site at least 3 days a week.
At Engineering & Property Services (E&PS) we take care of all J&J buildings around the world providing end to end services from Real Estate, Engineering & Strategic Project Delivery to Facilities Management. The Manager, Strategic Program Management is accountable for delivering standardized and consistent E&PS program management while driving deep alignment with the COEs, Engineering Standards, Project Services, regional leads, sub-regional leads and suppliers. This role is responsible for successful execution of programs across manufacturing and/or non-manufacturing environments.
A suitable candidate for this role will have experience in the delivery of benchmark strategy and transparency through robust program management, financial planning, and proactive supplier relationship management for a global organization.
Key relationships include communication and coordination with E&PS leaders as appropriate, to ensure successful implementation and management of the E&PS programs while understanding the nuances of unique sub-regions. Program management also involves extensive coordination with business customers on a project-specific basis.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as subject matter authority for program management
- Drive strategic programs across teams that address pivotal initiatives and/or operational needs; scope of work will include leading project team, setting up program structure, developing program metrics, partnering with internal and/or external resources, providing executive updates, and assuring program objectives are delivered as per plan
- Approach Program Management from an E&PS end to end scope, champion cross-regional coordination to deliver on programs
- Track and control program management and execution through collaboration with E&PS sub-regional leaders, finance, and business leaders
- Build communication plans with the program and/or project sponsors and agree on communication strategy for key partners on all program aspects and prepare and present progress updates
- Establish and implement methodologies to generate savings and optimize the business while deploying the specified programs
- Ensure program management is aligned with global E&PS and wider J&J strategies
- Build-up and deploy communication strategy to drive innovation environment within E&PS
- Connect with E&PS leads to ensure program initiatives are in line with annual business planning
- Integrates Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making.
Education:
- Bachelor's or equivalent university degree in a related field (Operations, Engineering, Computer Science, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Business, etc.) is required
Required:
- Minimum of 6-8 years of related experience
- Experience in Facility Management, Financial, or Supplier Management
- Strong business and relationship building skills
- Ability to effectively partner and deliver results in a matrixed environment
- Ability to adapt emerging standard methodologies and industry innovations
- Strong program management skills, proven organization, coordination and action tracking skills
- Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive deliverables.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- FPX Project Management – Practitioner
- Six Sigma certification
- Project Management methodology
- PMP Certification is a plus
- Familiarity within the Facilities and Engineering environment
- Experience building strategic relationships with internal and external project partners and sponsors
- Global experience
- Experience running complex workstreams, specifically across geographically dispersed teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
- Outstanding customer service skills across a variety of company levels
- Proficiency (oral & written) in the English language
- This position may require up to 20% travel
