The Opportunity
Adobe is driving strategic growth with global Private Equity companies by creating a new go to market – Adobe Private Capital (APC). The Managing Director will take full responsibility for all resources within the APC team, go-to-market and influence both internally and externally.
We are looking for a leader to drive the APC strategy, acting as a core partner for Operating Partners within large and mid-cap global Private Equity firms. Experience of driving value within a Private Equity context and of large scale, transformational programs in marketing technology and enterprise modernisation is important. A deep understanding of Adobe’s technology is a bonus.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a leader to drive the APC strategy, acting as a core partner for Operating Partners within large and mid-cap global Private Equity firms. Experience of driving value within a Private Equity context and of large scale, transformational programs in marketing technology and enterprise modernisation is important. A deep understanding of Adobe’s technology is a bonus.
What you’ll do:
- Define and continually improve the vision and methodology of APC in line with industry trends.
- Act as a leader with vision to drive recognition of APC in the PE industry.
- Lead and inspire a team of Account Directors to define priority portfolio companies that can derive significant value from the use of Adobe’s integrated technology stack.
- Act as an executive sponsor for relationships with Operating Partners in the PE firms to drive discussion on value levers within the portfolio company.
- Define and build an effective joint governance model ensuring alignment and sponsorship across Adobe regional teams.
- Grow revenues across the business (software, services, and support).
- Lead and mentor regional account teams to drive value for portfolio companies at a regional level.
- Champion a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement, with APC collaborating with regional teams globally.
- Overall accountability for key performance metrics related to value generation within PE firm portfolios.
- 15+ year track record of driving large scale digital transformation programs with enterprise customers.
- Significant experience within the Private Equity industry – as an Operating Partner or decision maker within a Portfolio Company.
- Outstanding executive presence and presentation skills, with the ability to converse with, encourage and engage C-level executives.
- Strong experience in strategy development – either in a senior consulting capacity, or a decision-making role.
- Deep experience in both the Software and Services business models with the confirmed ability to structure and negotiate large, dynamic agreements.
- Deep knowledge of digital transformation trends in the industry and Adobe’s position relative to those trends.
- Natural leadership skills, including confidence demonstrating senior executives and influencing strategies for leading teams in highly matrixed organizations, galvanising a sense of common purpose.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and social skills, with the ability to establish rapport and influence at all levels.
- Energetic, proactive, and results-focused, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively lead competing priorities.
- Selflessness, a sense of urgency, performance management and a natural focus on your organisation’s success.
- Proven history of creativity, personal drive, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
