Overall Mission:
You will be responsible for the Planning section of the Maintenance department and Technical Admin. You will develop and coordinate maintenance plans, including routine and preventive interventions, related schedules and resources, skills and materials needed to maintain installations and equipment to avoid or minimise disruptions in production. You will work closely with Maintenance and Projects teams for planning and scheduling purposes.
You will be based in Ashford, Kent and will report to Maintenance Manager.

Overall Mission:

You will work closely with Maintenance and Projects teams for planning and scheduling purposes.
You will be based in Ashford, Kent and will report to Maintenance Manager.
Your main responsibilities:
- Support Maintenance department manager and develop the site maintenance management system
- Issue PPM work orders to Maintenance team as per the PPM programme
- Collaborate with Production Planners to obtain production schedules, identify equipment involved and plan for resources, skills and materials for interventions
- Collaborate with insurance inspectors and plan inspection activities
- Review plans with the Maintenance Manager to validate accuracy and feasibility, and consolidate these into a master plan
- Communicate with the Technical Stock Team to monitor inventory of materials and equipment necessary for planned maintenance activities
- Support Maintenance department keep and monitor departmental metrics, KPIs
- Maintain and update the status of work control and backlog for work request submissions
- Maintain and provide all necessary documents for audit requirements
- Support the resolution of key production problems
- Ongoing improvement and development of Engineering Standards and Engineering Compliance Policies
- Engineering notification management on the company systems - Issue work orders, technical confirmation of work orders, manage work order backlog on system
- Log callouts to 3rd party service providers
- Add notifications following service reports/insurance reports
- Raise required purchase orders as per purchasing procedures, record goods receipt, file the service reports, quotes on company record systems
- Any other activities within the engineering team to maintain operational performance of the site
- Responsible for management of site facilities contractor
- Higher National Certificate in Engineering
- Demonstrable work experience with technical (mechanical/electrical/instrumentation) background in manufacturing or plant operations environment
- Good knowledge of craft and skill requirements to estimate labour hours, material requirement and skills needed to complete a job
- Good knowledge of maintenance, planning and scheduling and storeroom processes
- Knowledge of work order system (SAP preferred)
- Good knowledge of stakeholder management and communications
- Good knowledge of EHS rules and guidelines
