This role involves working with small groups or individuals to provide targeted interventions, assisting in lesson delivery, and ensuring every child feels supported and included.

The Role

Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need additional help.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist with classroom organisation and the preparation of resources.
- Monitor and track student progress, reporting back to the class teacher.
- Help manage classroom behaviour using positive reinforcement strategies.
- Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with children in a school setting is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, patient, and proactive approach to supporting students.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Hold or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
