Overview

We are recruiting for a Level 1 Motor Engineer to join our growing team in Ipswich.

How You'll Make An Impact

  • Authorise estimates and invoices over £2500 up to Client Delegated Authority Level
  • Act on independent engineers' reports
  • Liaise with drivers and policy holders
  • Assist with business queries as needed
  • Mentor engineering team members
  • Coordinate with field engineering companies, customers, and clients

About You

  • Technical experience in bodywork or mechanical field, ideally with VDA / IAEA / IMI qualification
  • Knowledge of estimating systems and modern vehicle repair methods
  • Ability to plan and manage priorities
  • Understanding of company's market position and client needs
  • Awareness of new technologies and trends in the repair industry
  • Expertise in motor claims handling practices
  • Strong negotiation and resolution skills
  • Eligble to work in the UK
