Job Description

This person will be supporting the learning needs of all the businesses and functions in the sub-region Europe North. They will also be expected to work across the EMEA region for some regional or global learning and development projects.

The person collaborates with internal customers to gain knowledge of learning needs and facilitates standard learning and development programs. And the person will be a member of the global Talent & ULU team.

This position is open for locations near the UL office Basingstoke in England.

Our delivery is 90% virtual and 10% face-to-face with a mix of live VILC, ILC, platform-based learning and the development of stand-alone resources such as e-learning, podcasts, and video casts.

The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring delivery of standardized learnings in this region is highly impactful and cost effective, and for the targeted development of future resources.

The appointed person will be expected to liaise with employees and managers in the Europe North sub-region.

Further responsibilities will be collaborating in regional and global TULU projects to ensure delivery of good quality learning and development services to internal participants.

We are a global team, and the appointee will be expected to work in a culturally sensitive way, driving high collaboration and occasionally support other regions in their delivery outside of European time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Assists to formulate learning and development plans based on business and organizational needs
  • Understand features and designs of standard learning and development programs.
  • Contribute to develop innovative training programs that supports the business. Bring in new thinking in innovative learning and course development.
  • Assist to develop and facilitate post-training application with program stakeholders.
  • Produce reports in an effective and professional format and further analyze the data and draw implications. Provide LMS team with constructive suggestions to ensure the effectiveness of the Learning Management System.
  • Lead regional learning operation project and/or local learning and development projects. Communicate timely to project stakeholders to ensure efficient approaches and to keep up momentum project on track.
  • Be part of global and regional project teams.
  • Facilitate general staff training and development programs using a variety of learning and delivery methods.
  • Analyze post training reports and assist to develop actions based on the analysis.
  • Get proficient in the usage of our Learning Management System (LMS) and provide the team with constructive suggestions to ensure the effectiveness of the LMS.
  • Collect, extract and analyze data and demonstrate confidence in presenting data.
  • Provides other duties as directed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of Bachelor or equivalent.
  • Professionally qualified with min. 3 years professional level experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to administer programs and manage small to medium sized projects.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
  • Understanding and confident use of digital learning technologies.
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset and skills to enhance work quality
  • Good general facilitation skills and virtual delivery capabilities.
  • Experience in support Organizational Design delivery preferred
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English (additional other European language like Spanish, French, Polish proficient level appreciated)
