Landscaping Supervisor (Bicester)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within our maintenance team at a prestigious site in the Bicester area. The supervisor role will be working alongside the Landscapes Contracts Manager to maintain high quality standards across the site. The team are looking for an energetic individual who is passionate about garden maintenance and able to work efficiently within a strong team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting the Landscapes Contracts Manager to ensure smooth, efficient, professional and profitable running of the site.
• To plan and implement workload.
• Ensure Health & Safety measures are followed and upheld.
• Liaise with clients effectively and professionally.
• Lead team training in the manager's absence.
• Maintain the landscape to a high quality, keeping it tidy and healthy.
• Review gardening practices, tools and PPE regularly.
  
  

The Ideal Candidate Will

• Be driven, positive and able to motivate a team to deliver quality results.
• Have good horticultural knowledge and experience in garden maintenance.
• Have a positive, can-do attitude.
• Be physically fit as the role requires hard, physical work.
• Be comfortable working outside in all conditions.
• Have a full, clean UK driving licence.
  
  

Desirable

• Machinery skills are an asset including Telehandler, MEWP, Digger and Dumper.
• Experience with managing a team.
• Good computer skills to assist with administrative tasks.

This position is a full-time role, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week).

The hours will vary seasonally, from 06:30 – 15:30 in the summer to 07:30 – 16:30 in the autumn/winter. Occasional night work may be required for holiday cover.
