Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Human Resources Intern to join our team at NETS UK. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, training and development, and HR administration. The ideal candidate should be pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field and have a strong interest in HR practices and policies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be interacting with employees and assisting with HR-related inquiries. Attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality are crucial in this role. The candidate should be proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn. This internship is a great opportunity to develop your HR knowledge and skills in a supportive and collaborative environment. Requirements
Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding
Assisting in posting job vacancies and managing applicant tracking systems.
Screening CVs and coordinating interviews.
Supporting the onboarding process by preparing documentation and organizing induction sessions
Employee Engagement
Helping to organize team-building activities and employee wellness programs.
Collecting and analyzing employee feedback to improve workplace culture.
HR Administration
Maintaining and updating employee records in compliance with UK regulations.
Assisting with documentation, contracts, and policy updates.
Handling day-to-day HR inquiries and ensuring confidentiality.
Learning and Development
Coordinating training sessions and maintaining training records.
Supporting the development of employee development initiatives.
Compliance and Policy
Assisting in the implementation of HR policies in line with UK employment law.
Supporting compliance audits and maintaining accurate records.
Other Duties
Participating in HR projects as needed.
Providing general support to the HR team to ensure smooth department operations.
Qualifications
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
A proactive, detail-oriented, and team-player attitude.
Desirable
Previous experience or coursework in HR is a plus but not required.
Familiarity with UK employment law and HR best practices is advantageous
Technical Proficiency: ATS, HRMS, HRIS, PMS, tools, Tableau
