Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 (depending on experience), plus company benefits

Hours: Monday – Friday (37.5 hours/week)

Interview Process: 2-stages (one via Teams and the second in person)

Now we have an exciting opportunity for a proven HR advisor to join us, working within our highly collaborative and talented People team.

Working as one of our People Advisors you will provide key support to our People Business Partners and be a driving force in new people initiatives.


You will ensure the People Administration team have the necessary skills and processes in place to solve people related queries, have some line management responsibility for the People Administrator and People Support Placement Student (as well as any interns that may support the People Team) and you will get heavily involved in a number of projects that the People Business Partners will lead on.


Additionally, you will advise line managers across the UK & Ireland region on all people matters; developing strong relationships through becoming a trusted partner.



Key responsibilities:

  • Provide HR support to the UK & Ireland offices
  • Work closely with both People Business Partners to determine and drive key areas of focus for the People Admin team
  • Regularly meets with, support, and provide trusted people advice to extended management team
  • Lead probation, absence management, disciplinary and grievance procedures
  • Monitor absence level trends and highlight concerns to line managers on a monthly basis
  • Provide support to the People Business Partners with TUPE transfers in and out, or mergers and acquisitions
  • Respond to queries to the People inbox and oversees the assignment of emails and responses
  • Own the SharePoint pages including developing the content/design
  • Support the role out of new/ongoing initiatives such as engagement surveys, well-being initiatives, culture events


Skills and experience:

  • Proven and previous experience of working as a People/HR Advisor in a commercial environment
  • Experience of managing complex ER-related issues to resolution
  • Previous experience of HR & Payroll systems
  • Process driven
  • Clear communicator, capable and comfortable dealing with people at all levels of the business
  • Experience of responding to complex People queries
