Here at Amegreen Childrens Services Ltd, we have a new and exciting opportunity for a Home Manager to play a pivotal role in providing outstanding care and support to our children, empowering them to overcome challenges and thrive in a nurturing environment.. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £30,000 to £40,000 (including sleep-in's) per annum plus benefits.

About the Home Manager role:

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Home Manager who has previous experience as a Deputy Manager or Home Manager in a children's care setting. In this role, you will be the driving force behind the day-to-day operations of our home, supported and guided by a Registered Manager. You'll work collaboratively with an existing team while warmly welcoming and inducting new staff members. Your effective communication skills and caring, empathetic nature will be instrumental in creating a positive and supportive atmosphere for both our team and the children in our care.

As a Home Manager, you will demonstrate your in-depth knowledge of the Children's Homes Regulations, ensuring that our homes exceed the highest standards of care and treatment interventions. Your ability to develop and inspire your team will be crucial in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and growth.

Skills and experience required as our Home Manager:

  • Level 4 Apprenticeship for Children, Young People and Families Practitioner or NVQ equivalent.
  • Desired: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or Home Manager in a children's care setting.
  • Caring and empathetic nature, with effective communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Children's Homes Regulations.
  • Ability to develop and inspire a high-performing team.
