Job Title: Head of Food and Beverage

Location: Richmond Villages Aston on Trent, Richmond Drive, DE72 2EA

Salary range: From £37,500pa plus Excellent Benefits

Contract: Permanent

Shift Pattern: Full Time - 40hrs per week 5 days over 7 to include weekends on a rota basis

Richmond Village in Aston on Trent is looking to appoint a new Head of Food and Beverage. If you are a passionate customer focused team manager who pays particular attention to the finer details and achieves consistency in delivery, then we want to hear from you. At Richmond Village you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents and welcoming new customers, giving them a reason to love living in our village.

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high quality and profitable hospitality services, ensuring great customer satisfaction and consistent high standards across 5 catering outlets within the village. You will oversee the planning, preparation and delivery of high-quality food services tailored to our residents and meeting our visitor and guests’ preferences and needs. In addition to this you will lead and motivate the kitchen, housekeeping and hospitality staff ensuring they are trained, supported and committed to providing an excellent and consistent service for our residents.

Who We Are Looking For

  • We are looking for a manager with a minimum 5 years’ experience within a similar role.
  • You will have expertise in quality standards of service and in food and beverage.
  • You will have proven record of managing safe and compliant HACCP and COSHH requirements
  • Experience of working in a 4* or 5* hotel/conference centre with multiple restaurant and bar outlets.
  • You will be flexible and adaptable to different working conditions.
  • You will have excellent financial acumen.
  • You must be able to demonstrate forward planning of your business function, including marketing strategies
  • You will have excellent leadership and communication skills both up and down the management tier and are able to lead a team with great oversight as well as hands on.
  • You must be computer literate, especially with MS Excel and rostering systems.
  • A liquor licence is highly desirable but not essential.
