Head of Business Development - Adults Services

IBC Healthcare is on the lookout for a passionate and results-driven Head of Business Development to spearhead our growth strategy to increase bespoke care offerings to vulnerable adults with learning disabilities and mental health additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shape and execute a robust business development strategy that aligns with IBC Healthcare's ambitious growth goals.
• Cultivate and strengthen partnerships with Registered Providers to expand housing and service opportunities.
• Lead housing development initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and alignment with business objectives.
• Innovate and implement new service models to meet evolving healthcare demands.
• Develop and oversee referral management strategies to enhance service delivery and optimize capacity.
• Build influential relationships with key stakeholders, including Local Authorities, commissioning teams, and other partners within Adult Social Care and Housing.
• Represent IBC Healthcare at industry events, conferences, and forums to boost our brand presence and unlock new opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to synchronize business development activities with operational capabilities.
• Oversee budgets related to growth initiatives, ensuring sustainability and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor KPIs to evaluate success and make data-driven decisions for future growth.
• Conduct market analysis and feasibility studies to guide strategic planning and investment.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing business development team, fostering innovation and collaboration.
  
  

What We Are Looking For:

• Minimum of five years' experience leading business development efforts, preferably within Adult Social Care.
• Proven track record of building successful partnerships with Local Authorities and healthcare commissioners.
• Strong strategic and analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and designing solutions.
• Expertise in business planning to achieve sustainable growth and service delivery goals.
• Excellent negotiation, networking, and communication skills.
• Experience working with Registered Providers, Housing Associations, and Developers.
• Solid commercial acumen with the ability to deliver compelling business cases to the Board of Directors.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects across various stages and locations.
• Deep understanding of commissioning structures within the Social Care sector.
• Degree-level qualification in business or a related field.
