Graduate Accountant

Our Corporate Finance team are recruiting for a Graduate accountant/part qualified accountant to be based in our city center Aberdeen Office. This individual will be part of the Corporate Team, involved in various aspects of the business including Governance, Analytics and other adhoc requirements.

Candidates must be based in Aberdeen or within commutable distance from Aberdeen due to office location and presence requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• The responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
• Assist with the Internal Audit Function – review specific businesses or functions, collate information and provide appropriate feedback and process improvements
• Perform review of month end, forecasts and budgets from global perspective
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Prepare analysis of operational performance on businesses and product lines.
• Monthly compilation of key performance indicators for the facility.
• Collaborate with other departments to drive improvement.
• Assistance with Audit requests and drive improvements in processes for audit.
• Experience working with facilities across the World
• Any other reasonable duties as required by the Finance Director and Senior VP Finance
  
  

Required Skills / Knowledge

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong problem solving and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  
  

Experience

• Some experience in an accounting role preferred.
  
  

Education Requirements

• Accountancy education desirable however tuition support will be provided.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Candidates must be based in Aberdeen or withing commutable distance from Aberdeen due to office location and presence requirements.
