Foundation Programme Co-Ordinator

The Clinical Education Team are looking for an Education Co-ordinator.

This Trust Wide post will support the Medical Education Manager and team by providing senior administrative support to the Leicester Foundation Training Programme. The postholder will manage the Foundation Year one and two doctors through their training programmes within the UHL to a successful conclusion. They will provide senior administrative support to the Foundation Training Programme Directors (FTPDs) for the Foundation Training Programme.

This role will actively support the development of the Clinical Education centres and support innovative ways to raise the standard of the Education Team within the Trust.

Provide ongoing expert knowledge, training and support to the trainees and educators relating to the Foundation training programme at UHL.

Manage the Clinical Education Centre Reception area, including the day to day Clinical Education Centre activities and maintenance.

This post may supervise/line manage one members of staff.

This role may require some out of hours working to meet the demands of the PG training sessions.
