• Location: HMP Peterborough
• Working hours: 37.5 with a regular Mon-Fri pattern
• Salary: £23,400 per annum

Experience And Knowledge

• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with all legal and procedural requirements.
• Reporting: Assist in producing reports and identifying trends from data.
• Filing Systems: Monitor and update filing systems, ensuring secure and efficient storage.
• Administrative Support: Perform administrative tasks to support the Manager and ensure the function runs efficiently.
• Collaboration: Work with colleagues and external partners to support the smooth running of the prison.
• Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Other Duties: Support other administrative functions as required, including staff rotation and alternative roles
  
  

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar administrative role.
• Proficiency with IT systems and applications.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Health, social welfare, or voluntary sector experience is desirable but not essential.
• Knowledge of the English legal system is desirable but not essential.
