Fire Extinguisher Engineer

Location: Plymouth


Salary: 35K + OT + VAN + Extra earning options + full benefits package

Leading fire safety specialist is looking for experienced fire extinguisher engineers, who are keen to progress their career into the Fire Alarm trade.

FIRE EXTINGUISHERS AND BASIC FIRE ALARMS AND EMERGENCY LIGHTS MAINTENANCE

Requirements:

• Ideally an experienced Fire Extinguisher/Fire Alarm Service Engineer.
• Will consider Extinguisher Engineers with no alarm experience who are willing to learn!
• Must have BAFE certificate/qualification for working on fire extinguishers or equivalent.
• Must be a driver and hold a full UK driving licence, with no more than 6 points.
  
  

About the role:

• Service and maintenance of Fire Extinguishers and basic Fire Alarm and emergency light maintenance.
• Repair and fault find.
• Replace failed and faulty devices.
• Replacing extinguishers and Fire Safely Ancillary products, emergency signage etc.
• Upselling and cross selling of Fire Safely Ancillary Products.
• Schedule own works daily/weekly.
  
  

Basic salary and package:

• £28K- £30K depending on experience plus the commission and bonus schemes available based on revenue achieved each month.
• Average additional payments are around £600 - £1000 per month.
• Vehicle is a Van plus fuel cards and Parking Apps.
  
  

There will be a requirement to join an emergency callout rota, which is 1 in 16, you will get paid £210 per week standby plus double time if you physically go out to a call.
