This business is seeking a dedicated Financial Accountant to join their finance team in Huddersfield. Description

• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Analysing financial data and assisting in month end process.
• Coordinating with the internal audit team to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
• Working with the accounting team to streamline accounting functions and operations.
• Providing insightful information and expectations to company managers to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
• Reviewing financial data periodically to ensure fairness and completeness of the data.
• Engaging in continuous knowledge development regarding sector's rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards.
  
  

Profile

A Successful Financial Accountant Should Have

• Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant is necessary (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Experience in industrial / manufacturing is ideal but not essential
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and ideally SAP (but not essential)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Professionalism, dependability, integrity and trustworthiness
