Summary

We are currently recruiting for Civil & Electrical Field Managers to be responsible for day to day safe operation of site and provide supervision of all activities for ongoing New Connection & Capital Works.

The Field Manager will ensure that all activities on site are undertaken in accordance with statutory requirements and per customer/company policies and standards for our clients sites across the Northern Powergrid (NPg) network.

Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:

• Ensure Company Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality policies are followed.
• Adhere to PPTW process.
• Manage and control site safety and operations.
• Ensure personnel under control are trained and competent.
• Recognise best practices and promote innovation ideas.
• Support incident investigations.
• Promote Freedom values.
• Ensure all records/registers are kept up to date on a daily basis.
• Manage and Deliver the Connection Workstream
• Outage and work planning
• Performance of site teams.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working within the utility industry
• Previous experience working within NPg is preferential
• UG Electricity Network Experience
• CDM Site Management Experience
• Excellent organisational & programming skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organisational levels
• NEBOSH/SMSTS Level Safety accreditation - Desirable
• Emergency First Aid
• Manual Handling
• NRSWA
• DNO Authorisations - Desirable
• Full Driving Licence.
