About The Role
We are looking to recruit a Fabric Technician to join our friendly team to ensure site fabric services are to a high standard within our Health contract based at Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre. This is a full time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday working various shifts between 7am and 7pm.

About The Role

Responsibilities
- Attend regular M&E meetings with the Hard FM Manager and senior maintenance technician as required.
- To carry out building fabric duties throughout Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre.
- To prioritise and handle all demand work orders received from the facilities helpdesk, ensuring that all reactive tasks are actioned/completed within the agreed timescales.
- To assist in obtaining costs for additional works and materials wherever possible using approved G4S specialist subcontractors and suppliers.
- A full compliance with all current and pending health & safety legislation on site at all times.
- The job holder may be required to carry out any other duties as deemed appropriate by the Engineering Manager and senior maintenance technician.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Recognised trade apprenticeship in building fabric construction / maintenance.
- Minimum of 3 years post apprenticeship experience of building and facilities maintenance.
- Good communication skills
- IT literate
- Customer focused approach
- Able to work on own initiative
