Our growing Environmental Planning team is seeking talented and experienced individuals (Senior Consultant to Associate level) to join our team across various locations in the UK (primarily London, Reading, Bristol, Taunton, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh but we are open to considering other Stantec office locations). At Stantec, with every community we redefine what is possible. In addition to helping solve some of the key challenges around unlocking the delivery of housing and infrastructure projects, you will join us in working on innovative projects in renewable energy (solar, battery storage and energy networks) and decarbonisation (carbon capture storage, transport and technology). You will also be contributing to building the nations resilience to climate change and improving water quality through the delivery of various water projects. You will have the opportunity to work within a range of planning regimes (including NSIP / DCO and TCPA) helping our clients efficiently meet their objectives in a safe, environmentally, and socially sustainable manner.

About You
You'll be a great fit if you have:
- A relevant degree and full membership of a relevant professional institution.
- Experience in environmental consultancy or a relevant industry sector.
- Expertise in environmental impact assessments (EIAs) across various project types (real estate, energy, water, infrastructure).
- Strong understanding of the UK planning system (Town & Country Planning and DCO regimes).
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for sustainability and a desire to make a positive impact.
