Overview:

TGI Fridays is seeking a dynamic, data obsessed and results-driven Digital Performance Marketing Manager to join our marketing team. This role is responsible for driving digital marketing strategies that grow table bookings in stores at pace along with growth in revenue, traffic and awareness. As a key player in the team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of digital campaigns that align with the company’s business objectives and brand creative. This is a remote role with weekly visits to a TGI Friday's store and regular meetings in London, Birmingham, Milton Keynes, Bristol. Candidates should be within a 2 hour travel window of London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Digital Marketing Campaigns: Plan, execute, optimise and report on digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels (e.g. Paid search, paid social, display, CRM, including email and rewards app) to drive bookings, brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting: Monitor, analyse, and report on key metrics (ROI, CAC, CPA, CTR, etc.), leveraging data to inform decision-making and optimize future campaigns.
  • A/B Testing & Optimisation: Continuously test and refine digital marketing strategies and creatives to improve campaign performance, including ad creative, bidding strategies, channel mix, ad copy, targeting identify campaign opportunities for additional revenue.
  • Audience Targeting and Segmentation: Use audience data to create personalised marketing campaigns that target specific demographics and customer segments to drive engagement.
  • Grow loyalty and acquisition through CRM Strategies: Use customer and sales data to improve our CRM performance through email marketing and rewards app. Grow audience and drive frequency of visits and spend per head
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with the creative, brand and content teams to ensure all digital campaigns align with TGI Fridays’ brand guidelines and messaging.
  • Budget Management: Manage digital marketing budgets to ensure optimal allocation of resources - maximising campaign performance within budget constraints.
  • Vendor and Partner Relationships: Collaborate with external agencies, partners, and platforms to improve campaign results and achieve key marketing objectives.
  • Stay Current with Digital Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices to ensure TGI Fridays stays ahead of the competition in the digital landscape.
  • Regular Travel to Venues: Attend on-site meetings and events at TGI Fridays locations to gain insights into the brand and ensure alignment of digital campaigns with in-store promotions and strategies.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a digital marketing manager, with a focus on performance marketing, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Platform Expertise: Strong knowledge of digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads, CRM platforms etc.) and performance measurement tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush etc.).
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies to improve digital campaign performance.
  • Creative Thinking: Strong creative mindset with the ability to collaborate on ad creatives and landing page designs that drive user action.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, agencies, and external partners.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Solutions focused: and ability to be creative to deliver business growth

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Punch, Salesforce).
  • Knowledge of SEO and content marketing strategies.
  • Experience managing digital campaigns with a national or regional focus.
