Overview Of The Role
JCB Transmissions is seeking a skilled and experienced Development Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the design, build, and validation of advanced test rigs for transmissions and driveline systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our cutting-edge products meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability.
What does this role involve day to day?
Ordinarily, our resourcing team reviews and shortlists CVs. If shortlisted, you’ll speak to one of our recruiters to discuss the role further. Our interview process usually consists of an initial team’s interview followed by an in-person interview. Overview Of The Role
JCB Transmissions is seeking a skilled and experienced Development Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the design, build, and validation of advanced test rigs for transmissions and driveline systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our cutting-edge products meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability.
What does this role involve day to day?
- Developing comprehensive Design Validation and System Performance Objective Reports (DVSPOR) to ensure the test plans align with project requirements.
- Using CAD tools to create detailed schematics and models for bespoke and adaptable test rigs
- Developing harnesses for integration with test rigs and test systems
- You are an Engineer with a wealth of off-highway transmission experience with a Degree or HNC in Mechanical Engineering
- You have experience in test rig design, DVPSOR creation, test rig build & harness design.
- Have experience in identify opportunities for enhancing test rig capabilities and processes
- You have a desire to work on cutting-edge technology within a world-renowned organization
