Your Responsibilities
- Assist with the budgeting and reforecasting of ticket sales, sell through rates and facility fee income
- Provide high level ticket sales reporting and insights to the venue leadership
- Manage the casual staff budget for the ticketing function.
- Oversee the successful ticketing management for events, from agreeing the manifest with the promoter to event day delivery.
- Ensure accurate and timely ticket sales updates are provided to promoters and designated venue personnel.
- Liaise with promoters and venue ticketing partners to assist in putting new shows on sale.
- Ensure the ticket office is fully prepared on event days, including collation of agent lists, seating checks, and entry scanner testing.
- Act as the main liaison with the promoter representative on event days, agreeing on final sales figures and managing guest lists appropriately.
- Ensure the ticket office has adequate cover on event days.
- Line manage the venue’s Ticketing & Box Office Executives.
- Provide assistance, training, and guidance to casual ticketing team members.
- Respond to escalated inbound customer enquiries related to ticketing issues.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and PCI regulations at all times.
- Liaise with other departments, including Events, Finance, Marketing, and Premium, to provide necessary ticketing information and insights
- Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and meet strict deadlines.
- Professional appearance and presentation, maintaining a smart and approachable demeanour.
- Strong people management skills, with experience leading and supporting a team.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills to liaise effectively with promoters, ticketing partners, and internal teams.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in reporting, sales updates, and ticketing processes.
- Exceptional organisational and planning skills to oversee event ticketing operations efficiently.
