The Data Collection and Improvement (DCI) team deliver a support service to care providers with the aim to help them collect and improve the data they submit to NHS England.
The Team Has 4 Sections
As a Data Operations Senior Administrator, you will play a key role within an allocated section. Duties specific to this role include:
Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.
Staff recruited from outside the NHS will usually be appointed at the bottom of the pay band.
NHS England hold a Sponsor Licence; this means that we may be able to sponsor you providing the Home Office requirements are met. To be eligible for sponsorship through the Skilled Worker route you’ll usually need to be paid the ‘standard’ salary rate of at least £38,700 per year, or the ‘going rate’ for your job, whichever is higher. - Data Collection - Managing a large number of collections from several hundred providers and delivering submissions support across a range of data collection systems
- Data Coverage – Monitoring and supporting increased coverage across mandatory data collections
- Data Improvement – Developing trusted relationships with providers to support improvements in the data submitted
- Management Information - Sourcing, extracting and analysing data about collections to help DCI and other services evidence and maximise their impact.
As a Data Operations Senior Administrator, you will play a key role within an allocated section. Duties specific to this role include:
- Responding to technical and administrative queries from providers and problem solving to find resolutions
- Supporting providers to submit and improve data to NHS England across a range of data collections and systems
- Supporting the delivery of provider-focussed services and processes for allocated collections, systems or data improvement projects
- Assisting with the facilitation of national and/or regional engagement with providers, such as central communications and user groups
- Collating and sharing feedback from providers to improve the data collected and our collection processes.
- Enabling local systems and providers to improve the health of their people and patients and reduce health inequalities.
- Making the NHS a great place to work, where our people can make a difference and achieve their potential.
- Working collaboratively to ensure our healthcare workforce has the right knowledge, skills, values and behaviours to deliver accessible, compassionate care
- Optimising the use of digital technology, research, and innovation
- Delivering value for money.
