Müller Milk & Ingredients which aims to be Britain’s private label dairy leader and produces branded and private label fresh milk, cream, butter and ingredients products. It boasts a network of dairies and depots servicing customers throughout the country.

Müller Yogurt & Desserts which is the UK’s leading yogurt manufacturer which aims to create millions more Müller moments for its consumers. It is responsible for major brands like Müller Corner, Müllerlight, Müller Bliss, Müller Rice, FRijj and Müller Kefir Smoothie and produces chilled desserts under licence from Mondelez International. It also supplies the UK private label yogurt market from a dedicated, state of the art yogurt facility.

Customer Service Manager

We are recruiting for an experienced Customer Service Team Manager to join our Müller Milk & Ingredients business. The successful candidate will ensure that customer needs are not only met but exceeded, aiming to provide excellent customer service. This role involves guiding the team to achieve set goals and driving service improvements in alignment with our supply network setup.

Main Responsibilities

  • Embed a high-performance culture through effective coaching, development, and performance management.
  • Take full ownership of day-to-day order management and contingency planning, with regular alignment with IT, Commercial, Planning & Logistics.
  • Regularly review team goal progress, focusing on continuous improvement, and empower the team while providing guidance and support.
  • Contribute effectively within the Customer Operations leadership and wider team, supporting the delivery of the Operational Excellence program and functional & business goals.
  • Oversee resource planning to ensure sufficient cover 7 days a week.
  • Support and represent the Customer Operations team at relevant internal meetings with cross-functional teams, relating to daily service, and provide subsequent coverage.

Key Requirements

  • Experience working in a fast-paced customer service environment with demanding KPIs.
  • Proficiency in SAP, AS400, and COGNOS.
  • Good understanding of internal and external supply chains for product supply to retailers within FMCG is desirable.
  • Significant experience in leading and developing a team.
  • Ability to scope system requirements.
  • Strong team management skills.
  • Customer service and product supply chain experience.
  • Good Excel skills.
  • Numerate with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
