Job Purpose

This is a strategic and hands-on role working with our global business development team to drive brand awareness, positioning and demand generation with prospective and existing university partners, along with other key B2B audiences such as investors, government bodies and trade press.

This role reports into the Director of B2B Marketing, and will be part of a small but agile team with lots of cross-team collaboration.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in B2B marketing, strong storytelling abilities, and the expertise to develop and execute campaigns that drive engagement, lead generation, and brand awareness in an agile, fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has experience in education marketing and understands how to position our solutions effectively to Higher Education B2B communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop & Execute B2B Marketing Strategies: Create and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns to attract and engage existing and prospective university partners across English-speaking markets. This includes organic and paid demand generation marketing.
  • Thought leadership & PR: Support brand building amongst key Higher Education senior decision-makers, journalists and investor communities via reports, whitepapers and press releases.
  • Content Development: Produce compelling marketing materials, case studies, blogs, presentations, and digital content tailored to Higher Education and investor audiences.
  • Lead Generation & Nurturing: Design and manage lead-generation campaigns, leveraging email, webinars, events, and paid media to build a pipeline of prospective university partners.
  • Brand Positioning & Messaging: Refine and communicate our value proposition to ensure consistency and alignment with university needs through sales enablement, digital and print collateral, and own product messaging on our B2B-facing websites.
  • End to End Event Planning & Conference Marketing: Plan, coordinate and promote the company’s presence at key education industry events, conferences, and webinars.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management: Collaborate with business development and product teams to align marketing efforts with business priorities and goals. Partner with our marketing team to deliver campaigns and collateral.
  • Performance Analysis & Optimization: Monitor campaign performance, analyse key metrics, and optimize strategies to maximize ROI.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and university partner needs to refine marketing strategies.

Person Specifications

Statutory Requirements

  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK and work from our offices in London Greenwich
  • Undergo an Enhanced DBS disclosure check or overseas equivalent

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in B2B marketing, preferably within the international education industry, and across the UK/US/Canada/Australia.
  • Self-starter, happy to work with a blank canvas and some levels of ambiguity. Comfortable working with multiple deadlines.
  • Thrives on shaping and delivering, with a can-do attitude.
  • Excellent project management experience.
  • Strong communicator with experience dealing with multiple stakeholders across businesses.
  • Proven experience in sales-driven B2B marketing contexts, preferably in education/Account Based Marketing/start up or early growth environments.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing B2B marketing strategies that drive product awareness, lead generation, higher retention and revenue growth.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Proficiency in content management, event planning, marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
  • Proficiency in WordPress CMS, HubSpot Marketing Automation, SalesForce CRM, Google Analytics. InDesign/Photoshop/Canva/Google Adwords & Meta ads a plus.
