We are seeking a people orientated and safety conscious leader, to join our Operations Management Team as a Conductor Team Manager to inspire Train Conductors to deliver exceptional service.

Working closely with our Operations Managers, you’ll inspire and motivate your team to bring our vision to life where it really matters - at ground level, on our trains. That means contributing to our overall Business Plan by making sure our trains operate safely and staying flexible enough to deal with ever-changing demands as our business continues to move quickly.

In this varied and exciting role you’ll lead and direct all traincrew operational, safety and people management activities to enable the team to deliver high standards of quality and customer service. You’ll maintain our competence management system for conductors, promote and foster a positive safety culture and motivate your team to our customer service, operational and performance standards.

To fulfil this highly responsible role, you’ll need:

  • Excellent people management and communication skills
  • Proven organisational and time management skills
  • Extensive conductor experience
  • To obtain or be willing to work towards your assessor qualifications
  • A full, current car driving license
  • To work across shift patterns incorporating weekends and evenings, including an on-call commitment
  • A sound understanding of HR and safety policies, or be willing to learn
  • Excellent customer service


£42,042.00 - £44,937.00
