Our continued expansion into the commercial insurance arena allows you to play a pivotal role as an agency Partner of this prominent Devon-based Financial Services provider. You’ll join the current agency partners to help run a large, high-performing insurance business with an impressively loyal and diverse client base across Personal, HNW and Commercial Lines.

Your leadership experience and commercial flair

With the support of four experienced agency Partners and a highly engaged team of almost 30 staff, you’ll be walking into a fully optimised business with a clear plan on future growth. You’ll inherit a significant renewal book of clients to nurture, and you’ll play a pivotal role in developing and acquiring new commercial clients across an expanding range of business sectors. The agency’s future in Commercial Lines will very much depend on you.

Whilst Insurance or Financial Services experience would be advantageous, our agency Partners come from a broad range of backgrounds. If you’ve excelled in a B2B client-facing career and can demonstrate the following core skills we’d welcome your application:

• Consultative sales skills to develop and acquire new clients
• Account management skills to retain existing clients and grow key accounts
• People management skills to coach, develop and inspire staff towards a common goal

Additionally, the role requires:

• Commercial acumen with the vision and ambition to drive growth of your agency
• Customer-centric ethos that places customers at the heart of your business
• Strategic thinking to support business planning, from short to long-range plans
• Passion or interest in rural affairs or the local farming community, which will serve you well in your additional role as NFU Group Secretary.
