In this role you will play a pivotal role in driving commercial success by leading a team to deliver well planned and profitable market performance. Your strategic guidance will ensure a balanced approach to margin and volume aspirations, leveraging data analysis and market insights to optimise performance across all areas of commercial activity. In close collaboration with cross functional stakeholders, you will maintain a strong focus on product penetration and margin optimisation while acting as the central point of contact for business case production and fostering headquarter collaboration within the Controlling and Planning function.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead commercial aspects of the annual Planning Round and in year reforecasts, ensuring alignment with VWFS UK 5-year budget.
• Develop and oversee pricing strategies to achieve margin targets while considering commercial factors to ensure VWFS achieve volume aspirations.
• Develop and enhance methods to analyse product and channel performance
• Provide valuable analytics, insights, and recommendations to senior stakeholders to support commercial steering actions.
• Develop strong relationships with commercial teams to support and challenge delivery of VWFS UK objectives.
• Build relationships with brand planning functions to align activities with brand ambitions

You will have the following skills and experience:

• Business related degree or professional accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA).
• Extensive experience in implementing B2B pricing strategies.
• Experience in the automotive finance or banking industry.
• Strong understanding of mathematical and statistical tools.
• Proven track record in implementing complex reporting and analytical activities.
• Substantial experience in financial modelling and performance analysis.
• Demonstrated success in coaching, upskilling, and sharing technical knowledge with stakeholders.
