About The Child Protection Team
The Child Protection Team is at the heart of safeguarding vulnerable children and ensuring their safety and well-being. As a Social Worker in this vital team, you will:
Assess and manage risks to protect children from harm.
Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with families and partner agencies.
Work directly with children and their families to support positive outcomes.
Attend and contribute to child protection conferences and legal proceedings as required.
Maintain accurate, detailed records to ensure accountability and compliance with statutory duties.
What You Bring
To excel in this role, you'll need:
A minimum of 3 years' experience as a qualified Social Worker.
Current registration with Social Care England.
In-depth knowledge of child protection legislation, safeguarding procedures, and best practices.
Strong communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
