Douglas Court Care Home are currently recruiting a Caterer to join our team based in Derby, Derbyshire. You will join us on a Full Time, permanent basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary of up to £12.40 Hour.

Adept Care homes provide residential care and residential dementia care in our family-run, Midlands-based care homes. We help our residents to lead enriched, happy, and fulfilled lives, supported by a friendly, caring team.

You will be joining the team at Douglas Court a lovely purpose built 43 bed quality residential home for dementia in Ivy Square, Derby offering affordable and high-quality care.

We are recruiting a Caterer to work with our Kitchen team to support the Homes’ aim of delivering high standards to residents by providing nutritious, varied and well-balanced meals that are safely and hygienically prepared and served.

About the Caterer role:

• 26.5 hours per week, alternate weekends
• Pay up to £12.40 Hour

What we are looking for;

• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (essential)
• Previous cook/chef experience (essential)
• Positive and caring attitude (essential)
• Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills
