Responsibilities:
- Digital: Creating innovative digital campaigns working with Marketing and the Vendor to drive business with strategic and creative approach that leverages various digital channels and technologies and our internal capabilities.
- Business Planning: In conjunction with the Marketing and BDM you will be responsible for developing and executing business plans that outline the strategies and tactics needed to achieve growth in the market. This may include taking action from our data, market analysis, and identifying opportunities for expansion or new approaches
- Execution: You will need to implement the strategies and action plans outlined in the business plan. This could involve launching new products or services, entering new markets, or improving existing offerings to meet customer needs and market demands.
- Pipeline Management: Managing the sales pipeline is crucial. You'll be working with the sales process, track leads on campaigns, opportunities, and deals, and ensure that the pipeline is healthy and progressing in a way that aligns with the company's growth objectives. Use of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system is critical.
- Sales Floor and Customer Enablement: You will be responsible for equipping the sales team with the necessary tools, resources, and training to effectively sell HPE’s products. This might include developing sales collateral, conducting training sessions, and ensuring the team is well-prepared to engage with customers and supporting with Call out day activity, incentives and promotions.
- Customer Engagement: Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers is vital for business growth. You will need to actively engage with customers, understand their needs, and work on strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Vendor Relationship: Collaborate with vendors or partners to ensure a strong and productive relationship. This can involve joint marketing efforts, and aligning strategies to mutually benefit both parties.
- Profitability: Your role focuses on driving profitable growth. This means making data-driven decisions, monitoring key performance indicators, making use of the data available and constantly seeking opportunities to maximise profitability.
- Reporting: You will likely be responsible for generating reports and presenting performance metrics across the business and into the vendor to provide insights into the effectiveness of your business development initiatives.
- Engaging with the Business Unit and Sales Teams: This involves collaborating across the HPE Specialist Business Unit and wider sales teams for various aspects of your role including Category Management, Marketing, Sales Specialist, Business Development Managers, Technical.
- Product Communication: You are responsible for effectively communicating product information updates, pricing, special offers, and promotions to both customers and internal sales teams as needed. Clear and timely communication is key to driving sales.
