UKES Rail Ltd is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure smooth day-to-day accounting operations.
If you are AAT Qualified, have previous accountancy practice experience, and are proficient in Xero, this is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
Xero Management - Oversee and maintain financial records using Xero accounting software.
Invoice Processing - Accurately process and manage supplier and customer invoices.
Account Reconciliation - Reconcile all business accounts, including expenses and payments.
Payroll Administration - Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
VAT & CIS Returns - Prepare and submit VAT and CIS returns in accordance with HMRC regulations.
Profit & Loss Reports - Generate and present monthly profit and loss statements to the company director.
Financial Compliance - Ensure compliance with relevant financial and tax regulations.
