BI Analyst Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire (Hybrid) Permanent Role: £45k Plus Package We are supporting a client who are recruiting a BI Analyst to work closely with key stakeholders to develop, enhance reporting and insights to help shape decisions for the business. This is a permanent role. Candidates must have full right to work in the UK.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data requirements and designing data visualisations and reporting tools that meet their specific needs.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data by conducting regular data audits and implementing data quality improvement processes.
- Analyse and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business growth and profitability.
- Assist in the development and implementation of data-driven strategies to identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue optimisation strategies.
- Provide timely and relevant ad-hoc analysis and insights to support decision-making processes and address business challenges.
- Promote the use of reporting and visualisation tools across the organisation by delivering training sessions, creating user-friendly documentation, and providing ongoing support to end-users.
- Continuously seek feedback from stakeholders to improve reporting and visualisation processes, ensuring that they are intuitive and valuable for decision-makers.
- Develop a deep understanding of the key performance indicators (KPIs) and business processes that the reporting and visualisation tools support, allowing for informed decision-making and improved business performance.
- Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel proficiency, to effectively analyse data sets, uncover insights, and generate accurate reports.
- Demonstrate familiarity with data visualisation tools, such as Tableau or Power BI, to create compelling and user-friendly visualisations that enhance data understanding and decision-making.
- Possessing strong SQL skills to efficiently extract, manipulate, and analyse data from relational databases, enabling deeper insights and more robust reporting capabilities.
- Embrace a curious mindset and actively seek opportunities to learn from the expertise of the team, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
- Experience working in a commercially focused team, with hands-on exposure to data manipulation, report creation, and analysis to support business decision-making processes.
- Display strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy, ensuring that reports and visualisations are reliable and trustworthy.
- Proactively seeking opportunities to enhance data analysis skills, staying up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data visualisation and analysis.
