Assembly Fitter Required In Telford, Shropshire

Due to an increase in orders, we are looking for an additional Assembly Fitter to join a well established manufacturing business in Telford, Shropshire.

The working hours are day shifts Monday to Friday (45 hours per week), the starting hourly pay rate is A GBP 12.50 per hour (annual salary just under A GBP 30,000 per annum), with future development and progression opportunities available, as well as overtime also being available and paid at premium rate once youve passed a probation period.

The hiring manager would like someone who has both mechanical and electrical assembly experience, previous experience with 12V electrical systems is preferred.

This role would be a great fit for someone who has previous experience as a Mechanical Assembler, Mechanical Fitter, Electrical Fitter, Vehicle Fitter or Vehicle Technician who has a passion for working with vehicles.

What You Will Do

• Measure, cut down and install components into vehicles, ensuring precision and quality.
• Interpret and work from technical drawings to meet specifications and standards.
• Utilise hand and power tools daily, including spanners and drills, to perform tasks effectively.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
• Complete supporting paperwork, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  
  

What You Will Bring

• Proven experience within a manufacturing environment, demonstrating your ability to thrive in this sector.
• Previous electrical and mechanical assembly experience, ideally with experience with 12v electrical systems.
• Proficiency with using hand and power tools, showcasing your technical skills.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, ensuring precision in your work.
