GSL Education is seeking a creative and passionate Art Teacher to cover maternity leave for a year at a secondary school in Chesterfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students through the arts and potentially secure a permanent role afterward.

Job Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Art lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
- Foster a positive and creative classroom environment that encourages students to explore their artistic potential.
- Provide individualized support to help students develop technical skills, creativity, and confidence in their artistic abilities.
- Organize and display student artwork to celebrate creativity and achievement within the school community.
- Collaborate with colleagues and leadership to enhance the arts curriculum and contribute to extracurricular activities.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
- Proven experience teaching Art at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Strong knowledge of the Art curriculum and ability to teach various artistic techniques.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
- Passionate, inspiring, and dedicated to promoting creativity and expression in students.
- UK Driving License and Business Insurance.
