1st (United Kingdom) Division (1 (UK) Div) is the UK’s light and airborne division. Rapidly deployable and optimised for complex terrain. Our purpose is to fight and win battles on land.

Job Description
The Staff Officer Grade 3 (SO3) Command Group (Comd Gp) Coordinator reports to the Div HQ’s Executive Officer (XO), (an OF3/Major rank), to assist with the support to the senior leaders of the Command with particular focus on co-ordination and preparation of briefing material/programmes and co-ordination of inward/outward visit programmes. The position holder will also act as the line manager for the PA to the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 1 (UK) Div.

The ideal candidate will be well organised and will possess strong communication skills in both written and verbal form. They will be able to quickly build good working relationships with a variety of partners, both internal and external to the organisation and be able to provide support to a wide range of people of different backgrounds. They will use initiative to prioritise work with minimal direction whilst maintaining an excellent attention to detail.

- Manage IT, external communications, presentations and distribution of hard copy material during meetings.
- Attend meetings to produce and distribute records of decisions, requests for information (RFI) and actions ensuring RFIs and actions are tracked to conclusion.
- Maintain an activity/task tracker for Comd Gp principals, hastening overdue outputs and brief principals on activity/task progress.
