3.4U Inspection Coordinator - Onshore
As the onshore Inspection Coordinator you are responsible for providing support to inspection projects throughout all stages from tendering, to offshore execution to reporting.
You are an experienced Inspection Coordinator and are passionate about delivering high quality inspection data. You have a flexible and adaptable approach to work and be able to attend project mobilisations as required.
You must thoroughly understand work specifications, project requirements and client objectives.
You should have a good understanding of various type of inspection data, systems and equipment and be comfortable with specifying and appraising systems as appropriate.
Main Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with the on and offshore project team.
- Keep the onshore Inspection Lead informed of project inspection activities. Ensure adherence to company policies and processes including when attending vessels.
- Demonstrate commitment to and promotion of Beam values ensuring the realisation of company and project health, safety, environmental, quality and ethics, systems, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure that inspection data and delivery processes are adequately controlled and quality checked.
- Attend tender meetings as required and provide guidance on inspection resources. Support tendering managers and review project proposals as required.
- Ensure Inspection Equipment is properly specified and acquired prior to project start.
- Write project procedures and create offshore workpacks and Ensure offshore team has all required documents, data and systems.
- Check equipment at base prior to mobilisation and ensure specified equipment is received by vessel.
- Assist with equipment and system setup as required.
- Ensure all project data and documents are delivered to the Inspection team.
- Liaise with project team and onshore Inspection Lead as required in relation to any issues with equipment preparation, suitability and/or performance.
- Act as the onshore point of contact for all inspection related issues during project execution.
- Attend vessel calls as requested by the PM.
- Report ongoing progress and issues to the onshore inspection lead.
- Provide technical and procedural leadership for project inspection activities.
- Attend demobilisations if required to support the offshore team.
- All records (including documentation of returns) of equipment movements kept up to date on company systems.
- Liaise with the offshore and IT team to ensure all data is suitably backed up as per agreed process.
- Prepare onshore data delivery site.
- Ensure that the offshore team reports and faults or damage appropriately.
- Ensure replacement equipment is provided as required.
- Track the creation and delivery of reports from the offshore team.
- QC and/or create reports from inspection data.
- Prepare final deliverables for issue to client.
- Prepare and support the delivery platform.
- Report progress to PM and onshore inspection lead.
- Respond to client comments as required.
- Follow data QC processes.
- Complete Daily and Weekly quality controls and complete the assurance work.
- Complete ad-hoc activities at the request of the Inspection Lead or PM as required within agreed timeframes.
You should apply if you have:
- Desired 5 years 3.4U experience with 2 years in a similar or equivalent role.
- Hold current CSWIP 3.4u certification.
- Hold a valid UK driving licence.
- Valid OGUK medical and BOSIET/FOET/HUET (desired but not essential).
- Experience in planning offshore inspection projects.
- Experience of inspection data acquisition and reporting.
- Proficient in the use of inspection software and MS Office.
- Significant ROV inspection project experience.
- Experience of mobilisation, calibration, and demobilisation of inspection equipment.
- Excellent communication skills, and ability to laisse effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Full professional proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written
