Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 Per Hour (Depending on Experience)

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a supportive school in Poole. This is an exciting opportunity to provide personalised support to students who need extra help to succeed in their educational journey.

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with individual students, tailoring your support to their unique learning needs and helping them overcome challenges.

Responsibilities as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA):

• Provide focused, one-on-one support to students, ensuring they receive the attention they need to succeed.
• Assist in delivering engaging and effective lessons tailored to the individual student's learning style.
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere where the student feels valued and supported.
• Track student progress, providing constructive feedback and encouragement to boost their confidence and motivation.
• Support the student during break times and extracurricular activities, promoting social skills and interactions.
• Help maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment conducive to personal and academic growth.
  
  

Requirements for the 1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA) role:

• Previous experience as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is desirable.
• Strong understanding of diverse learning needs and effective support strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
