1 X NON-PRODUCTIVE TEAM LEADER

You will fulfil the necessary requirements within the Commissioning Department to meet the Company’s objectives by providing effective leadership to ensure a motivated team and a workstation that enables the manufacture of high quality and cost-efficient boats.

Key Job Functions

• Maintain quality and adhere to quality standards at all times.
• Maintain stable hand over -delivery
• Manage timekeeping and attendance.
• Task assignment to team members.
• Achievement of health and safety standards.
• Implement appropriate corrective action where necessary.
• Reduce defects per unit at hand over of parts.
• Ensure hand over dates are met.
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Minimum: NQF Level 4 qualification
• Ideal: National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Production Management/Engineering or related field.
• Experience: At least 2-3 years production related experience.
• Thorough knowledge and experience of all aspects of Assembly.
• Experience in plumbing, deck fitting or carpentry will be advantageous.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written.
• Able to work weekends and overtime.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Display initiative and lead by example.
• Have a thorough understanding of the quality condition within the company.
• Able to understand Drawings and Lay up schedules.

Due to the inherent nature of the job the candidate needs to be able to swim and be able to work in poor weather conditions.
